Description

This might be the first time I don't want galaxy season to end!  I'm really enjoying imaging these galaxies this year!

Messier 94 is a spiral galaxy in Canes Venatici. It's unusual visually in that it has a ring around the disk. It's unusual in ways we can't directly see because it has little to no dark matter. I don't think those two facts are related but it definitely makes M94 something of an unusual galaxy.

Description: This is a rework of the data using BlurXterminator and also is not quite so heavy handed in the attempt to bring out detail.
